3M sticker, for surfaces that fight back
The 3M Sticker is our professional-grade self-adhesive option: a 3M adhesive built for a bubble-free, long-lasting application on surfaces where an ordinary film struggles. It is the finish to ask about when the wall is awkward, the job is commercial, or the mural has to go up cleanly the first time.
What it is
A self-adhesive material carrying a professional-grade 3M adhesive, printed to your measurements in centimetres. Like every peel-and-stick finish it needs no paste, and like every peel-and-stick finish it wants a smooth, sound, fully cured surface underneath. What the 3M adhesive buys is grip and air release: it lays down flat rather than trapping bubbles, which is what makes a large panel manageable.
Which jobs it suits
Shopfronts, offices, cafes, exhibition walls, and any surface where an ordinary self-adhesive film has let you down before. It is also our most affordable finish per square metre, which makes it worth a look on a large commercial wall where the budget is set by area. Send us a photograph of the surface and we will tell you whether this is the right material for it, or whether a paste-up finish would serve you better.
What to know before you choose it
It is still a self-adhesive material, so the same rules apply: existing wallpaper comes off first, strongly textured surfaces will show through, and recently applied paint can lift when the mural is removed later. Peel-and-stick finishes do not outlast the paste-up ones, and they are not our first suggestion for a humid or unconditioned room, because condensation lifts self-adhesive edges over time. For those walls we would point you at premium vinyl or fabric backed.
Before you order
Measure the widest and tallest points of the surface in centimetres and enter those on the design page. We print to your figures and add a trim margin on every edge, included in the price you see. On a commercial job, send us a photograph of the surface and its measurements together and we will confirm the material before anything is printed. A free A4 sample on this material is worth taking on any job you have not done before.
