Ultra clear sticker, for glass, tile and ultra-flat walls
Ultra Clear is a smooth self-adhesive film rather than a wallcovering. It is the one to use where paste is not an option and the surface is genuinely flat — a glass partition, a tiled splashback, a shopfront window, a skimmed wall — and it holds photographic detail more crisply than any textured finish can.
What it is
A self-adhesive film with the adhesive built in, so there is no paste and no mess. The face is smooth and even, which is what lets fine photographic detail survive at wall scale: a textured material scatters light across small detail and a smooth one does not. It repositions while you work, which matters on glass, where a trapped bubble has nowhere to hide.
Which surfaces it suits
Glass, tile, laminate, and walls that have been skimmed flat and fully cured. Self-adhesive materials want a smooth, sound surface to grip. A light roller finish is usually fine with a paste-up material, but anything strongly textured will show through and will stop a film gripping properly. Existing wallpaper has to come off first, and if the wall was painted recently, give the paint time to cure fully before anything goes onto it.
What to know before you choose it
Peel-and-stick finishes do not last as long as the paste-up ones, and they are not our first suggestion for a humid room: air conditioning that cycles on and off creates condensation, and that is what lifts self-adhesive edges over time. For a bathroom, or a room without air conditioning, we would point you at premium vinyl or fabric backed instead. Send us a photograph of the surface and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right film for it.
Living with it
Dust with a dry cloth. On glass and tile it takes a gentle wipe with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, which handles fingerprints and everyday marks — nothing abrasive, no scouring pads and no solvent cleaners. It is designed to come away cleanly, and on glass, tile and sound fully cured paint it does. Pull slowly from a top corner at a shallow angle rather than straight out.
